Botanical Ingredients

Activated Charcoal

Fine charcoal powder with the ability to absorb excess oil, detoxify the skin and remove impurities. Commonly used in skincare and bath soaks.

Australian Beeswax

Used to condition, hydrate, soothe and calm the skin. It helps to provide a protective barrier to environmental elements and can help heal skin if needed.

Castor Oil

Castor oil is a unique oil used in soap for its unsaturated fatty acid, Ricinoleic Acid. It helps to create a stable, creamy lather with a low cleansing value so it won’t strip your skin..

Calendula

Botanical herb commonly used in skincare.  It can work to help support your skin through tissue regeneration and to soothe irritated and painful skin.

Clay

We use a range of different clays sourced from around the world. Used in cosmetics, soaps and our bath blends they all work in different ways to help absorb oil, detoxify the skin, create colours or help the soap glide on your skin.

Cocoa Butter

From the cacoa tree, cocoa butter is high in Palmitic Acid and helps create a creamy lather and a longer lasting soap.

Coconut Oil

Rich in fatty acid, Lauric Acid; in soap it helps to create hard bar of soap with good cleansing properties. It needs to be balanced with other ingredients or it can be drying to the skin.  In our lip balms, it easily penetrates the skin providing hydration and  protective barrier.

Olive Oil

Olive oil is a key component in our soap bars and helps to create a hard bar of soap that is very gentle on the skin. It is balanced with other ingredients to create a skin loving soap.  In our lip balms it is rich with antioxidant and moisturising properties. It can help soften the skin, reduce inflammation and help with wound healing if needed.

Shea Butter

Shea Butter is high in vitamin A, E and F helping to make it a natural emollient that can moisturise, protect, regenerate and soothe inflamed skin. It is believed to have some anti-bacterial properties making it great for skin irritations and protection from the elements.  In soap it helps to create a creamy and longer lasting bar of soap.s.

Sodium Hydroxide (lye or caustic soda)

This is an essential ingredient in modern soap making. It is mixed with liquids to create a chemical reaction that results in soap being formed. At the end of the reaction, none of the lye remains.

Titanium Dioxide

This is an essential ingredient in modern soap making. It is mixed with liquids to create a chemical reaction that results in soap being formed. At the end of the reaction, none of the lye remains.

There is a belief that one of the chemicals constituents found in It offers and ability to clear emotional blockages by allowing a person to connect with their true feelings. It can calm a nervous energy and energise and uplift someone who is lethargic or melancholic

Blue Tansy

Blue tansy is an emotionally uplifting oil that can calm emotions and promote a positive mood. It can help release emotions of anger and control to allow more flow in your life. Juniper is calming and eases stress without being a sedative. Spiritual oil and is a good choice during prayer or meditation. Strength to dig deep and face fears so you can heal them. Helpful with nightmares in adults and children and promotes more restful sleep.

Lavender

The oil of honest communication and expression. Well known for its sedative properties and is used worldwide to induce sleep. It works to calm a racing mind and has a balancing effect. If used during the day it can gently uplift. It works to ease anxiety and allows a person to feel

Lemon

Lemon allows you to awaken your senses, provides focus and emotional clarity. It clears your mind from distractions. It can reduce anger and anxiety, clear the air of tension and anger. It clears self doubt in your mind, heart and body.

Lemon Balm/Melissa

Calming oil uplifting to the mind especially spirit. It relaxes the body, mind and soul while bringing peace and contentment. History of use for anxiety, nervousness, shock, depression and insomnia. Promote restful sleep. Oil can teach us to allow calmness to flow through us and our life again. It lifts us out of those dark places and back into light and hope

Lime

Energizing, fresh and cheerful aroma. Well known for its ability to cleanse, purify and renew the spirit and help ground the body by pulling the energies inward and centering you. Used to focus attention and relieve irritation, worry and stress.

Mandarin

Rosemary

Sandalwood

Spiritual sacred oil prayer and meditation. Calms a busy mind and helps you to let go of worry allowing yo to relax into a peaceful state. Used to relieve tension, stress and low self esteem.

Tangerine

Tangerine is uplifting and can help to enhance creativity. It encourages playfulness and happiness allowing spontaneity and light-heartedness to dominate. It can help brighten your mood if you feel overwhelmed and over worked.

Tea Tree

Vanilla

 Said to be the closest in flavour to mothers milk. This scent has the ability to both soothe and relax the mind. It has a calming effect on the brain and the nerves that provide relief from anxiety, anger and restlessness but also stimulates mental clarity.
